Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Upon your arrival in Delhi, your driver will greet you at Delhi Airport/Railway Station and transfer you to your Hotel. Check in and after some rest, if time permits, proceed to visit some places near your hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: Full Day Delhi Sightseeing
Morning breakfast at the hotel, followed by a sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, this immense mosque is the largest in India. Next explore Red Fort, once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughul Empire, nearby we enjoy the rickshaw Ride in the local markets of Chandni Chowk and Kinari Bazar. In New Delhi you will explore 11th century Qutub Minar Tower, the India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President's House and Parliament House all dating back to the time of British Raj. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur (250 kms /05 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, the fabled 'Pink city' of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. The palaces and forts of the yesteryear, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors, are now living monuments, arrive and check inn to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 04: Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing
Morning after enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel we visit the dramatic hilltop fortress at Amber, ascend the imposing fort on a painted elephant. We wander among glittering inlays and the Hall of Mirrors.
We stop to view the elegant Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), this elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world.
After lunch tour of the Maharajah's City Palace, now partly a museum display a unique fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture, and house a rare collection of paintings, Rajput armory and costumes. Later we visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory – situated in the heart of the city where time has been accurately measured since the 17th century. Later in the evening leopard safari In Jhalana sanctuary.
Note: Here in Jaipur also there is sanctuary called Jhalana. Here leopards are there. Now a days it coming up from sightings point of view.
We can spare evening for safari purpose here as well. Here we can get two safaris.
The safaris are by Jeep and 2:30 hrs long. These safaris are official.
Day 05: Jaipur – Bikaner (330 kms /05 hrs)
Morning after breakfast at the hotel drive to Bikaner, tucked away in the desert region of western Rajasthan. Arrive Bikaner and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Full Day Sightseeing of Bikaner
Morning breakfast at the hotel, followed by visit to the unusual Junagarh Fort – sumptuously decorated with its ornately lacquered walls in red & gold and panels of dazzling coloured glass inlay set over the coronation throne. Later we will drive to Jodhpur (200kms/04 hrs) – is the second largest city in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is called the Gateway to Thar, as it is literally on the edge of the Thar desert. It is also called the Sun City as the sun shines (very bright and hot!) almost every day of the year. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Day 07: Sightseeing Tour of Jodhpur City
Morning after breakfast at the hotel we will visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, which dominates and offers spectacular vistas of the blue-hued city.
After lunch tours of Jaswant Thada – white marble mausoleum built in 1899 in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh and visit the Museum in the gardens of Umaid.
Later excursion tour to Mandore – the ancient capital of the Pratihara Rajputs, whose most remarkable monuments are the royal cenotaphs, particularly those of Jaswant Singh and Ajit Singh (XVII – XVIII centuries). A sanctuary dedicated to 300 million divinities shelters statues natural size local heroes. Later drive to Jawai Dam (166 kms/03 hrs). Overnight stay in Jawai.
Jawai Dam is a place where Leopards are good in density. Here they are found in cliffs of hills. They are the top predators here. This place safari are conducted by hotels. There are very few of them. But good potential place for Leopards. One night is recommended. The villagers are very cooperative and theses safaris are result of it.
Day 08: Jawai Dam – Udaipur (109 kms/02:30 hrs)
After morning safari, later drive to Udaipur en-route visit famous Jain temples of Ranakpur (Jain temples at Ranakpur are built in white marble. Its 29 halls spread over 40,000 sq.ft. and consisting of 1,444 pillars, not one of which is alike in its carving.) Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 09: Full Day Udaipur Sightseeing
Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on full day sightseeing tours of the city of sunrise – Udaipur. Visit to the City Palace Complex – the largest in Rajasthan. Also explore other attractions and picturesque locations of Udaipur city. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 10: Udaipur – Ranthambore (350 kms/06 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Ranthambore famous for the wildlife sanctuary, which is said to have the India’s friendliest Tigers considered to be the best place in the world to photograph the tiger in its natural habitat, a wonderful place for bird watching. On arrival check-in to the Hotel. Afternoon game drives to the park. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 11: Ranthambore Safari
Morning and afternoon game drives in the Ranthambore park. The park, which is one of the finest tiger reserves in the country, is the main attraction of Ranthambore. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Ranthambore Safari
Morning and afternoon Safaris in Ranthambore. Overnight in Ranthambhore.
Day 13: Ranthambore Safari
Morning and afternoon Safaris in Ranthambore. Overnight in Ranthambore. Note: In Ranthambore normal safaris can be replaced by premium Full day and Half day safaris and number of nights can be reduced.
Day 14: Ranthambore – Bharatpur (250 kms/05 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Bharatpur Birds sanctuary. Evening safari to the park. Overnight in Bharatpur. These safari are conducted by Cycle Rickshaws. You can walk through the park with Naturalist.
Day 15: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary Safari
Early safari to the birds sanctuary. Later drive to Agra. Overnight In Agra.
Day 16: Full Day Agra Sightseeing Tour
After having breakfast proceed city sightseeing tour of Agra visiting Taj mahal, Agra fort and other monuments of Agra. Later drive to Delhi Airport as per flight timings.
